An accomplished graduate of Eastern Kentucky University, Jackson placed 8th at the USATF 10k Road Championships and 24th at the USATF Half Marathon Championships. His personal bests include 7:59 for the 3k, 29:03 for the 10k, and 63:23 for the half marathon. Jackson balances his athletic pursuits with a full-time career as a sixth-grade teacher and a part-time position at a local running store. He resides and trains in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
